dear austin,
as you might have already guessed by the first 2 words of this post, we know our baby’s gender and have already picked out a name. and also, with this only being the second post of the blog, we’ve already changed things around (see, i’m not such a good blogger am i?). while we will continue to share our thoughts and experiences of parents, we would also like to create a memory blog for our baby. so each post will actually be addressed to austin but you’ll still be able to get a few “lessons” out of it.
so we’re roughly a little over a month left before the expected delivery date and really at this point, it’s a waiting game. we’ve taken the classes, read the books, gotten all the furniture, clothes, diapers, wipes (so much stuff for someone that technically doesn’t even exist yet!) and absolutely can’t wait to meet you. but even with all that stuff, nothing can prepare us for the emotions we’ll experience when we get that rush of going to the hospital and seeing your arrival. we don’t know what you look like yet but already…
